À propos de Jonathan H. Amsbary: Mordu durant son enfance lorsqu'il regardait Dark Shadows à la télé, Jonathan débuta très tôt à lire et écrire des histoires de vampires. Le temps d'étudier et d'obtenir son doctorat en communicatino de l'Université d'Indiana, il cessa d'écrire.
Il est présentement professeur à l'Université de l'Alabama, à Birmingham, où il enseigne la communication.
Cyber-blood est son premier roman de vampires, un petit changement de ses écrits académique. Bien que ses étudiants ne soient pas tout à fait d'accord, il n'est pas, et n'a jamais été, un vampire.

Ce roman de vampire montre à quel point la technologie est omniprésente. On peut même l'incorporer à ce genre de roman pour lui donner une dimension plus moderne que ces sombres châteaux classiques. Il est remarquable, pour moi car je n'ai jamais fréquenté les chat rooms que certaines personnes aient une vie virtuelle plus remplie que celle du monde réel.
